1) These two animals are both different from other domesticated animals because they are very independent even after domestication. Where as the dog is loyal and relies on its master, these two would prefer to not have a master and they act as though they do not have a master.
2)Some reasons for there resisting domestication would be their Independence and there fear of trusting someone/something. Another reason may be that they are simply wild animals and need the wild to display there power and freedom.
